Phil crosses the line to take his second Australian Championship in East Gippsland, 2018
In 2015 Phil entered his first bike race. He came 5th, and the dream of winning an Australian Championship was born.
In 2017 Phil won his first Australian Masters National Championship road race on the Gold Coast’s Commonwealth Games course.
Proving it was no fluke, in 2018 Phil won his second Australian Masters National Championship road race in East Gippsland.
And in 2019 Phil produced a hat-trick by taking his third Australian Masters National Championship road race win in McLaren Vale.
For 3 years Phil has proudly worn the green & gold Aussie champion’s jersey as he trains all over the world. He admits he is living the dream, but a dream that takes hard work, dedication and genuine love for the sport.
